Sandwell Council is currently undertaking a public consultation on substantially increasing the cost of parking across Sandwell, introducing even more costly proposals for West Bromwich.
The proposals out for consultation increase annual passes for car parks outside West Bromwich to £400 next year, rising to £600 in 2027 – representing a 150% increase.
Even more costly, annual parking passes for West Bromwich increase to £800 next year (a 333% increase!) and eventually cost an unbelievable £1200 by 2027 (a 500% increase!!!).
