New Mileage and Subsistence Rates Negotiated

Unions have negotiated better rates for mileage at Sandwell MBC. From 1 January 2023 the mileage rate claimable will increase from 45p per mile to 55p per mile. Subsistence rates for anyone required to work away from home will also increase from the current unrealistic rates to ones that bear some resemblance to reality. They …
