The Joint Trade Unions sent the attached statement to all Cabinet members at Sandwell Council on 11 November.
We have noticed on social media that politicians have already stated that the home is to be saved.
This is welcome news. Public services should be provided by the public sector and not for private profit.
UNISON expects a Labour Council to apply Labour values and keep services in the public sector.
