Today, Thursday 15 July, UNISON leafletted the ward of Cabinet member for Finance, Wasim Ali, in just two hours – calling upon him to fix the dispute at Sandwell Leisure Trust.
The leisure centres remain council controlled and a Labour Council should not tolerate an organisation using ‘fire and rehire’ to forcibly remove staff from national pay, terms and conditions.
More leafletting of Councillors wards and strike action will continue to take place until Sandwell Labour Controlled Council fixes this dispute.
