Thanks to all members who took part in the consultative ballot on the 2021 NJC pay offer of 1.75%.
The results were 76% to REJECT the offer (404 votes) and 24% to ACCEPT the offer (126 votes).
The votes from the Branch have been submitted to the Regional office and the national NJC committee meets Friday 1 October to consider the results from across the country to decide the next step.
The strong % to reject 1.75% is not surprising given that RPI inflation is currently 4.8% and we will all be paying an additional 1.25% National Insurance to not fix social care.
