Sandwell College has made a pay offer of 5% on all pay points.
With RPI inflation in May being 11.7% and forecast to rise up to 15%, this pay offer represents a significant pay cut in real terms.
UNISON members at the College are undertaking a consultative ballot on whether to accept this offer, or reject it and request a formal industrial action ballot on pay.
All members sent ballot papers are urged to vote and return them by 22nd July.
