Sandwell Stars in our Schools 2025 Winners
Julie Baker and Janice Bailey from Rounds Green Primary School are the stars in our schools’ winners for 2025. Pictured below they were nominated by their Head because ‘they started work within weeks of each other in 1987 and have dedicated their career to Rounds Green. They support the children, staff and each other and go out of their way to go over and above to help anyone in need. Their positive friendly supportive attitude really makes a difference in school.’

Team Winners are the Team Westies from Westminster: They include Shabena Bibi, Fitz Storrod, Samantha Coffield, Jade Allen, Marie Harewood, Helen Roberts, Sarah Southall and Leeanne Hocknull who are also pictured with the Mayor below. The Westies Team were nominated because they are always available to support both pupils and staff when called upon’. The whole team have a positive and calming attitude. Congratulations to all.
