Stars in Our Schools is a local and national award scheme to recognise the dedication of school support staff.
Sandwell General Branch is proud to launch the award again this year. Assistant Branch Secretary Louise Harrisen-Powis said that ‘Sandwell UNISON recognise the dedication that often goes unnoticed or is taken for granted in schools. We like to take this opportunity to shine a light and give some recognition where it is due.’
It takes a whole team to make a school a happy and safe place for children to learn. Stars In Our Schools Celebration Day is Friday 28th November 2025. During that week, Sandwell UNISON will hold it’s annual Stars in our Schools celebration for school support staff. We would love you to get involved! It is time to plan your school event now.
