Many members do not know that as part of their membership they can get a Free will writing service for them and their partner.
The service is available by either completing a form which can be sent out by the branch or UNISON Direct by calling 0800 0 857 857, or online.
The online Will drafting service is free* for UNISON members and their partners (if drawing up mirror Wills). UNISON have also negotiated low-cost rates for family members. This service is provided by BBH Legal Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thompsons Solicitors LLP.
This service allows UNISON members to complete their Will questionnaire in a safe and secure environment. Please note that you will need your UNISON membership number to complete this online.

There are fees if you amend a will at a later date and it is advised that you speak to UNISON Direct for a full understanding of these costs.
* To be eligible you must have been a member of UNISON for a minimum of 4 weeks. Your first Will is free, subsequent Wills are offered at low-cost rates.
