On the link below are the grades for Sandwell MBC and Sandwell Children’s Trust with the current NJC pay offer added.
Please note salaries listed are for full-time staff working 37 hours per week. The hourly rate is also included.
The pay offer also includes deleting pay point 2 which will mean staff on pay point 2 moving to pay point 3.
You can see that this affects the grades at the bottom end of the pay scales and UNISON has requested discussions on what employers propose to do to deal with this.
On May 8 the national NJC committee met and decided to consult all members in a digital vote with
a recommendation to reject. Rejecting this offer would mean moving to a formal industrial action
ballot around September. If you want to accept this offer it is important that you vote too.
Look out for an email around 23rd May for your vote. Consultation will close on 20th June.
Please use your consultative vote whether you want to accept or reject the offer.
